Drinking is far more socialy acceptable, loads of my mates smoke weed casualy but it still seems to dominate a large proportion of their lives just trying to legitimise what they do. Most people drink so its good for maintaining a good social life.

As maytee said, take up a sport, any sport or lively hobby and keep fit!
