What to do...this is a text game and I don't know how to proceed. I got her number yesterday and then proceeded to start texting her today. She lives in the dorms at my college and goes home on the weekends.


ME: Sara, hi! It's Turtle, I was busy saving the world last night so I thought I would shoot you a text now

HER: Haha wow that totally made my morning thank you lol and thanks for saving the world and all. We all appreciate it lmao!

ME: All in a day's worth of work! I just got out of a meeting, are you free tonight?

HER: No actually I'm home sadly. Sry :p what did you have in mind though lol?

ME: Holding auditions for becoming my sidekick in saving the world

HER: Haha oh darn I missed the opportunity of a lifetime! :p lol. you should go ask Bob lol.

ME: Well there's another opportunity when are you coming back on campus?

HER: Haha, not til tomorrow

ME: Haha obviously, I am planning on going to watch paranormal activity tomorrow night, want to come?

HER: Ooh not for me lmao! People saw that in my dorm and they were afraid to walk in their rooms alone lmao thanks tho :]

Her last text was around midnight so I guess I could just text her in the morning but I don't know what to say.

Text game was good, she seemed into it and flirted back, I would ease up in asking her out again, you don't want to seem desperate and make her think everytime you text it's to ask her out and you don't want it to seem like a routine everytime either.

Wait till the morning or afternoon to text her back,you have a life to. I would probably ask her if she has seen the previous 2,Did she think they were scary? if not ask her why and then depending on how she responds I would ask what type of movies she is into.

Do not rush this scenarios anymore. You invited her out twice in the same conversation and she rejected. Remember that when women want something (especially men) they make things happen. If she wanted to see you desperately she'd have suggested watching a different movie at least.

Now, not all is lost. Give her some time. You don't need to text the next day (since you're a busy person, right?!).

Next time you text her, don't just invite her out again. Give her some space, develop more comfort and attraction. Take the text game to phone game, and THEN invite her out (when you see she's showing interest...i mean MORE interest).

I think you just have to work her out a bit more and she'll go out with you.
