Hey there! So to start, I've been having some difficulties reading this girl in one of my classes at school. I used to know her a long time ago, but decided to just talk to her. Things were going fantastic, I didnt have to use any tactics or anything. Thing is, when I first started talking to her, I had no intentions of dating her, just being friends, but as days passed I started to like her more and more. So, I'd flirt and she'd flirt back. So eventually I worked up the courage to ask if she wanted to do something, and she would always be busy, or ignored the question. So I left it alone and just didn't try again and recently she's been very cold and doesn't really acknowledge me. My question is, did I mess up somewhere down the line? Did I wait to long?

Personally, I thought I had killed it with her, I kepther laughing constantly, and totally engaged and interested in all my stories and jokes. She'd always look for me and call me out if I was walking around or near her. But again, decently that's all changed. I understand the best thing to do is move on, but what could be the problem here? I understand my information is vague and uninformative, but there's not much to explain other than that.

my guess is that she was into you, but you never escalated, and so she finally found some other guy to fulfill her needs

You're witnessing female caprice, there's nothing weird about it. Once a girl is no longer attracted to you, or has no intention of keeping you around as a beta orbiter; you become desexualized and useless in front of her eyes (unless she truly likes you as a friend).
