Okay so this girl i want to get with has her birthday this week. Its highly likely ill see her next weekend but her birthday is midweek. Im not sure we are at that point of buying stuff for each other but i want to do something different and special. Not any of this typical afc stuff.

any ideas?

I'm sure I've seen the same topic somewhere in the forum. I'll go for soap. Buy her soap so every time she washes she'll be thinking of you and this present is cheap so u don't have to spend fortune. Don't go for a perfume as it is a cliché. :)

get her something that is specific to her....if you know something about her life and what is going on or what she is interested in, then get something you think will be special to her.

I'll add some useful input lol!

My housemate's gf's birthday was just the other week. He went all out but at least it's some perspective. She's really into Dexter so he got her EVERY novel that there is for her to read. She's also into horses so he bought her 2hrs of horse riding lessons, not only that but the absolute LAD also took part with her.

Now obviously this girl is his girlfriend of just over a year now so you don't need to go too extreme. But try to look at stuff she's interested in and get her something to do with that.
