I texted this girl all the time over the summer. Some days she would text me first, some days I would text her first.

Now that school has started, I'm confused. We don't talk as much, even though I'm sure the attraction is still there.

So I'm not really sure what to do here. Do I text her first, or wait for her to text me?

The last time I texted her first was about... 10 days ago. And last night, she texted me, but I was busy.

Her: "Come skating..."
Me: "I would but I don't want to make you look bad cause I'm such a pro."
etc.

I was the last one to text back, but I ended it.

Should I text her, or wait? I don't want to be texting her first constantly, or I'll seem needy or annoying. And in the future, how do I know which to do in a situation like this?

I'm not sure what to do here, but waiting on a woman to make the first move usually requires an extreme amount of patience. They normally expect you to act first. If you're starting to feel like you're looking needy then wait a day or two to text her.

You should be trying to set up a date. Phone game is for keeping the girl attracted to you and setting up dates.

Look I can't say this is whats happening to you, but I'm always worried about looking needy, and a lot of times, I'm blowing it out of proportion. I worry so much about looking needy that I'm distant instead. So just go for it, hell if it doesn't work, then try again with someone else, there may be a chance if you've been talking for awhile that if you screw up now you'll be able to come back to her later.

just text her again. its an IOI that she wanted you to come skating, but i think because you said:
"I would but I don't want to make you look bad cause I'm such a pro."
made your ego look huge in her eyes.. so she didnt reply.

id just text her again sayin "hey. what sort of trouble u causin" or "i just saw your twin" and play things from there

Alright Guys, thanks. Whoever that was above that said "I'm blowing my neediness out of proportion" I completely agree with you. I think that's what I'm doing.

And she did text back, we talked for like an hour.
