Ive done it a few times with mixed results. Ill tell you my big discovery which took me a while to figure out. Most guys there will be AFC's. The girls their all think they are the prize and most of the guys there will play into that roll of supplicant ass kissers. So, more then normal, you need to establish yourself as the prize and the decider. Ask them a lot of qualifying questions, don't laugh at all their dumb jokes and statements, don't ask interview questions like most guys and get into ping pong conversations. You have a very short window to make an impression and you have to stand out from the AFC's. Go extra hard on qualifying and separate yourself from he crowd by letting her know that you did this whole speed date thing on a dare and its silly and beneath you.

Here is a basic outline that you can personalize. Logistically, you also may want to alter questions between sets as you will move from one table to the neighboring table and thus don't want to say all the exact same stuff where the previous target can hear. Expect to do 75% of the talking by the way.

Ok to start with I would introduce myself with strong eye contact and make sure the target looks away first. This will immediately set the frame that your confident and she will now listen to whatever else you say. Now lean back and appear comfortable, she should be the nervous one not you.

general openers you can use: "Have you done something like this before? A lot of these girls seem like desperate spinsters or crazy cat woman and whats up with these nerds?" -- sets frame that you above the other guys and lays impudus that she needs to prove shes not a nutter.

statements, qualifying, and continuation:

"You seem ok so far, what made you want to do this" - makes her prove herself to you

she answers, now go into some canned story of why you are here with DHV and funny

"what would 1-2 great qualities about you that arnt obvious" - again, shes qualifying herself to you

now be prepared to answer the same question as she attempts to be clever and qualify you with your own material

"what nationality are you?"

I always have some semi generic story or response relating to travel in the country of her nationality or just be cocky funny, and saying "whoa I heard Albanian woman like you cant cook, is that true or are you a decent cook? No cereal or microwave dinners don't count

now as the bell rings and you shuffle off to your next girl, if you like her just say something like "ok I would like to get to know you better, see you later" Do not ask her to select you or seem needy. Finally, remember most of the attractive girls there, if any, harbor some fantasy of meeting prince charming and go to these things mainly to boost their egos if hes not there. This is why these events are always oversubscribed by woman now and not men. Most men have given up on this stuff. Hopefully this advice will get your dates with 1-3 of the attractive woman, consider that a success!

ok that's an idea of what you can do, and you will be way ahead of most of the ass kissers with just that alone. Remember to maintain strong eye contact and keep a dominant frame.

Shit I forgot one more super important frame concept thats especially applicable to this type of scenario.

When I was an AFC I used to think that the path to success at an event like this was to put the girl at ease and get her smiling. While that may build fondness that doesn't build attraction. Rather the tension and release loops I used above in qualifying will be much better in building attraction, and the good news is she has to sit there so you have time to set the frame where in a normal environment she can walk away before you have a chance establish it.

Late reply but I do post on other forums too, it went ok and I got one girls number at the end even though she flaked on me..i was not too botherd as she was not really that good lookinng. What anoyed me the most was they would say to me like "so what do you do" i often mentioned work which i was boring my self with talking about IT.

Ill go again but i think i need to have some better replies to them.

1. what do you do?
2. how old are you?
3. why are you here?

i have cocky funny, push pull, DHV routines for all these questions so when they ask them I look forward to answering them now
