College freshman now, know this girl in my year I think more likely than not has never had sex before (our dorm rush had a survey w/ a sexual purity test out of 100 and we were the only two freshmen that got above 90), but I still want to know in general

What's good practice for STD testing/prevention? Of course I'm planning on using a condom, but I intend for oral for both of us to be raw if I know its safe (mainly thinking that oral will not be fun if we have to use dental dams)

At what point do you mention STD testing? After you've had sex with her (yikes!)? If you mention before, how do you know when a good time is so you don't scare her by talking about it too early?

For anyone who's done STD testing with a GF, how did it work in terms of how much you had to do in terms of tests and time? And avoiding awkwardness of explaining to people you are going for STD testing?
