hi
you are in a public place. there are 2 guys and one girl standing, having a conversation. you are there, doing something....like maybe pouring yourself coffee and one of the guys says something....like "oh, nigeria is beautiful"

you want to enter their conversation so you say "oh you been there?" or "nigeria the country?"

and the guy kind of ignores you or tells you in a cold way "ya"
so basically he implies that he doesnt want you there.
what do you do? do you think "ok, he doesnt want me here so i will leave." or "who cares what he wants..." and continue forcing yourself into their conversation?

Give a reason you are commenting, like "I am just asking because I want to go there, what is it like?" This will make it seem less weird you are commenting and make it more realistic. Then once you got him to answer a with little more detail than yah, you can transition to other material. It's not "he doesn't want me here I will leave" or "who cares what he wants..." it's "this guy is talking about something that interest me, I want to talk to him more about it." This is going under his radar since he is only responding coldly to get you away from the girl. Later you can game the girl once you get past his defenses and he won't be able to stop you.

Be polite! Say:Excuse me i don't like to butt in to some other peoples conversation but your topic is so interesting, i've been to Nigeria bla bla bla etc(add more details) then introduce yourself and make friends with them.
