hi guys
so I am taking this acting class. my scene partner was this hot girl. her face, not so much, but smoking body. dont like her face, but i am still interested.
anyway, so yesterday we were supposed to meet and i was about 40 minutes late because the bus came late. by the time i got there, she had already left. i asked her to practice tomorrow and she said she is not doing this with me anymore because i have given her such short notice and there is no way she can memorize all those lines and I didnt show up as promised. I apologized over email but she said she is not going to do the scene with me.

I am wondering how i should behave the next time i see her in class. do i talk to her at all? do i talk to her but be cold? do i hug her and apologize?

If you've already explained what happened and there was nothing you could do about it, you should go and say hi. If she continues to act stuck up you stand your ground in a more firmer way and then exit.

Act as if nothing has happened. No apologizing, no looking to have a conversation with her, no remorse.

If anything, be extra happy and interact with other people in your class. It might piss her off more cause she could start thinking that you just don't care...this is good for you.

hi guys
so here is an update.
I followed your advice, pretend nothing is wrong.
so I went to the class and it was too early, the teacher wasnt there yet.
she and this other guy were in the classroom. I walked in and said hi to both of them and then sat down. I sat in the very back and the girl was sitting like 3 rows ahead of me, one row to the left. so this guy came up to me and said "can you practice my lines with me?" and he gave me his script. I was reading his lines with him and I could see that occasionally the girl would turn around and look...
then here is the bad part. we got a break and while everybody was gone, i was talking to the teacher about how i dont have a partner. then she walked in. Then the teacher said "dont be such a pussy, pick someone" and i said "i dont know how to pick, can you pick for me?" then he picked someone. and she heard all that.
then class was over and i saw her at the bus stop. I asked "have you had a acting class before?" she said no. so i said "you were really good up there. your character sounded so real" or something like that. and then i said "the only thing is your partner needs to be louder, i couldnt hear"
then she said "ya, sorry i couldnt practice with you"
i tried to avoid the subject, i said "no, i am saying your partner needs to be louder, because i couldnt hear"
then the bus came and she left. I sensed a feeling of guilt in her.

now i am wondering
1) how did i do? should i have ignored her at the bus stop?
2) this question is going to make me look needy, but bear with me. The scene partner that the teacher picked for me sucks. she is too quiet and she cant memorize shit. the hot girl is much better. I would prefer to do my scene with her and there is nothing sexual to this. should i email her and tell her "you know, i already have a partner but if you want, we can still try." or is this going to make me look needy?
3) what should i do? at this point i dont know what to do the next time i see her.
4) I wasnt sure how to respond to an apology. so i tried to avoid the subject and talk about something else. is it better if i say "it's ok, i know you have other things going on in your life, so no big deal" or "fuck you bitch" or ?? how do you respond to an apology?
