This is the plan I outlined for picking up this girl. I am new to game in general, so I would like some help or changes.

1. Set-up: I will attend an event or something with the girl sure to be there.

2. Body Language: I will have a relaxed body, look happy, loosen up, and try my best to be comfortable. Generally I would like to smile, laugh, and have a calm expression in the presence of this girl.

3. Conversation: I will kick off a conversation until I have the opportunity to compliment her in some way. From there, I will continue the conversation by asking what she's done recently, what she plans to do... Music topics, and I will make sure to balance the conversation by telling some stories and such of my life.

From there, other topics such as people and even sexual topics.

4. Touch: If the girl says something I will reward her with touch, and I may not shy from her touching me.

5. Follow-up: Hopefully all this will give me a number, and I can follow-up with texting and revealing that I like her. This I hope will give me her.

I formulated this using Pandora's Box and identifying her type, however I am not completely sure on her type. For those familiar with Vin DiCarlo's system, there should be some on here...

Her Type: Invest-Justify-Realist

Firstly, I don't think she is testing around with men, though she has slept with her best friend quite a bit. She does not have a boyfriend now, though she may want to invest in one.

Because she has had sex, I classified her as a Justifier, and also she does not seem shy of sex.

She seems to be a realist because she does try in school and cares for her future, which is the most easily identifiable trait.

Well, I hope my assessment is right, and I hope so for my plan too.

instead of focusing on that 'one girl' and reaching some sort of outcome with her, it would be more effective to focus on all girls and the process of getting them,
approach as many girls as you can, including this one, don't expect some sort of results, and don't put any focus on any particular one,

Well, I have got two other girls in mind besides this one... Should I pursue them with different plans while pursuing the first one?

come up with a goal you want, put a plan in action to achieve that goal, practice that plan a few times, now after a while of practice, reflect on that plan, what happened that went smoothly? what happened that went poorly?

you need alot of practice, anything under 10 girls at a time, is more then likely a giant waste and improvement will be slow... very slow due to not being able to experiment and push your comfort levels

when you are used to doing at least one approach a day, when you have time, set aside and hour or two a day, to just approach, make your goal something cool, like 100 numbers that are active and still in contact, now practice like a mad man

you shouldn't be "planning" this much, not always will thing go as you expected. she may feel the vibe and pffft there your chacne gone.
