On Friday while I was in this high end department store buying a coat, I was talking to the assistant (who was a HB9 and had a body to die for) helping me, and attempted to number close her by saying “I’ll make you a bet, if I’m the most charming person you’ve served all day, you give me your number” (made that line up myself). She laughed and said her boyfriend wouldn’t like that, but asked if I was on facebook and told me to add her. After that we continued talking while she was packing my coat (she seemed to take quite long here), she was quite talkative and asking me questions too. Then when I go, she says she’ll be waiting for my add on facebook jokingly.

The next day (yesterday) I add her on facebook and she confirms me as a friend a few hours later. I have a quick look at her profile and find that her relationship status is actually single lol.

Now, I’m not sure what to do here. Perhaps she is just testing me and wants me to pursue? Or, as a HB9 she gets asked for her number all the time and instead of saying she wasn’t interested, wanted to let me off gently? But then why want me to add her on fb?

Do you think I should send her a quick message? And if so, what?

Normally, I wouldn’t bother with this but this could be good practice for dealing with those super hot girls. Plus, she was hot lol!

She definetly doesn't have a boyfriend. DHV. If you don't see her every week in the shop then facebook is gonna be the only way she will see you in her life for the moment. You will have to use that to your advantage.

Erase the fact she ever said she had a boyfriend from your mind and don't let it make you act any differently than you normally would in regard to your game..

You can also not read much into Facebook relationship statuses in my opinion.. a girl can sometimes be in a relative new relationship which has not become "facebook official" or just be lazy and not update her profile information that often.. I used to be surprised at the number of incorrect relationship statuses on facebook!

As the other guys stated, you didn't build enough attraction. A bf should not affect if she sleeps with you unless she is 100% dedicated to him. But she gave you a couple ioi's so erase what she said about her bf. game her and don't ask about her bf!

Just because it says she is single on FB doesn't mean she is actually single. I am not saying not to purse. But I think people read into FB too much. I mean not everyone keeps their FB update and what have you.

I would take that as either an IOD or her not knowing what shes wants.

Thanks for all the replies gents. I sent her a brief jokey message a few days ago but she did not reply. I guess she either did have a bf or did not like me lol. I’m still happy I did it as I had nothing to lose anyway.
