Hi, I'm very new to the night club scene (this is my second time in like 5 years since they didn't really have em where I'm from) so I figured I'd just share my fairly uneventful experience from last night and see if anyone has any useful suggestions.

Basically my approach was just to try to get into the music and have fun dancing by myself and see what happens. Before the place gets too packed I notice one girl and one guy who are very talented do an absolutely stunning dance routine on the elevated stage. She was by far the best and most active dancer in the place.

Later on, I see this same girl dancing down in the crowd and she glances at me and appears crowed by some other dude...so I took that as an IOI and combined the act of elbowing him out of the way with moving in to dance with her. She smiles at me and says "nice". It worked. "I saw you up there, that was pretty good." I say. "just pretty good?? I was amazing. just pretty good??" "that was a compliment, you should take it like one" I said. We danced for seemingly quite a while with a little bit of kino etc and some good eye contact, a little flirtatious banter in which she threatened to leave for some reason I don't remember and I just smiled and turned my back to her, she stayed. Eventually the guy she had previously been dancing with on stage came by and she introduced me, then he left and she then kept dancing with me. At point point I pinched her ass and she said while smiling, "did you just grab my ass?", "no, I think it was that guy" obvious sarcasm "does that mean I get to grab your ass?", "haha, no.." smiling, "maybe I'll just leave then?" me, "haha, you are free to go" and then she did. Oops. I figured I might bump into her later but didn't happen as she was involved in some heavy grinding with better dancers any time i noticed her later, so oh well, not sure what I could have done about that.

Dancing for a while, a cute asian girl kind of grabs me and starts taking off her heels, this opens a small conversation about how her feet hurt. She dances with me for a while, rubbing her ass into me etc. She was dancing pretty close and at one point I tried to kiss her but rejected. Keep dancing, her face was close and I sensed something so asked her if she wanted to kiss me. She says maybe so I do. She kisses me violently practically dismantling my jaw but I am equally fierce. I've had better she says. So have I, I say. Repeat, same passion. Then she turns back and starts dancing with her friends completely ignoring me. Maybe a shit test but I'm not sure how to resolve it without looking needy, so I hang out for a few minutes to see if she'll come back and when she doesn't I'm tired so just decide to peace out.
