Reflecting over my game, I've realized I'm often not "calibrating" properly in set; usually I'll have attracted them initially, but over time, not move properly and neg too much/not reward her efforts.

Thinking about Mystery, his concept of Microcalibration is supposed to measure an IOI for an IOI and an IOD for an IOD; negging when she gives an IOI is something you don't do; just as giving an IOI when she disqualifies.


Mystery's idea of Microcalibration isn't unique to his method either; even his polar opposite, Juggler, uses a similar idea about "Prompting her to make an effort - then rewarding her effort".



I find I end up teasing too heavily sometimes, or not rewarding with enough interest.

How can I learn to microcalibrate properly? Is there any exercises you've used to learn it yourself, or is there any particular mindset you try to hold when you're in set?

Jugglar is not the opposite of Mystery, LS spawned from MM. 60 Years and Gary Brodsky are more of the the opposites: Charmer/Coquette vs. Rake.

Now that aside your question isn't an easy one. It takes a fine touch and im not an expert on this aspect myself. As always, especially with woman, actions speak louder then words so most calibration tests should be action orientated. Here are some calibration ideas in rough order of compliance escalation.

How is her eye contact, steady or wandering?
Does she maintain and hold hand contact?
is she asking you questions?
can you lead her about?
Can you isolate her?
will she walk with you arm in arm?
Will she allow you to massage and and reciprocate?


Things like this will help you gauge her real level of interest rather then relying on more subtle clues. If I cant successfully escalate with these behaviors I normally move on to the next set rather then burn my night with a chicks who just killing time with an interesting/fun guy.
