I am meaning to text my target tonight or tomorrow with a view to going out for drinks on tuesday or wednesday.


Is this a good idea for first date? I already told her it will be drinks but wondering if this is too boring.


Cinema = no chance to talk/build attraction


Coffee = too friendly


Im probably too busy on tuesday so may flake/re-schedule it for wednesday on purpose.

wine in the park, climb to a tower, cook some dinner, blabla. the goal is to end up in your place isnt it? so work towards that

Find out what scares her, and push those buttons. If she’s afraid of heights, take her to a bookstore but walk there and take a path that forces the both of you to walk along a high bridge overseeing a river. If she’s afraid of spiders, take her through a forest path to get to the café you want to go to. If her favorite color is pink, chew a lot of bubble gum. Incite some sort of emotional response from her and she will associate the added octane with your presence.

These are obviously not serious examples, but you get the point. A date that will anchor your presence to excitement or something similar would be preferable to just going out for drinks. However, it's not always practical to be creative on every date possible so I'd save the effort until you meet a girl worth it or for a 2nd date.

If you have a prize mentality this is especially important because the 1st date (regardless of how boring it is) can be used to screen out girls with low interest or girls you don't have any natural chemistry with.
