Sorry for the winded post here but I felt all these words were required to get the ball rolling on what I am trying to accomplish

I have noticed many people on here come looking for that one key thing that will allow them to pick up women. However, pick up skills can travel much farther than just picking up women, they apply to life in general. What I am going to do over the next week or two (maybe longer depending on the response this) is post a quote each day and relate it not just to picking up women but to life in general. Without a healthy view on life you can forget about picking up women I feel.

So for the first quote in this installment we have:

"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying. " -Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is full of quotes that really apply to life and can be related to pick up. This one really applies to the approach. If you do not approach a woman how do you know whether or not she will like you. I have explained this to my friends in these words... "Let's theoretically say I have no shot at getting this woman. If i talk to her i have atleast a 0.0000001% of succeeding. If I don't talk to her that chance is 0%." Don't be afraid to take chances because you will find yourself regretting not taking that chance later on.

To life:

Look at some of the most successful and wealthiest people on this planet. If you go back and look at how they got to where they are today it was because they took a chance when nobody thought they had a shot. They weren't afraid to go out on a limb. They seen what they wanted and they went after it. If you look at some of their stories many of them failed numerous times before succeeding. Many inventions that changed the way we live was because somebody was trying to do one thing but stumbled across another: http://www.businessinsider.com/these-10 ... nicillin-2.

As you can see if you just dare to try things some of them will work, some wont, and sometimes you may be trying to accomplish one thing but end up stumbling across a gold mine. But none of that can happen if you dont try.

Awesome attitude, dude. And thanks for the post. Once you really look at stuff, PU is related to so much stuff even directly. Look at pick up and business, or pick up and working out, and you'll see you can apply the same techniques to both, drawing from your experience in either one.

Great post man. That's the PUA attitude. The material we learn and the things we do, can definitely improve our lives not only with women, but in general.

For example, I was able to get my current job simply by applying some PUA techniques to my interviewers (nothing sexual of course lol).

PU material teaches you to be confident, to open yourself for new challenges, and to accept your failures and successes.

Good job. :)

Quote #2

"If you can accept losing, you can't win." -Vince Lombardi

Just as a quick background for those of you who don't know who Vince Lombardi is he is highly regarded as one of the best coaches ever across every major sport. The super bowl trophy is also named after him. If he doesn't know what he is talking about then I don't know who does lol.

PUA:

This deals with complacency. Sure you got your game up and you are getting laid almost everytime you go out. You are landing HB7's like its nothing. Every now and then you can land an HB10. While this sounds great because that involves some great game is that what you want to settle for? Why not keep improving your game and get to the point where you can land an HB10 almost whenever you want. Why stop there? The game is always evolving women start to catch onto certain techniques. Why not be the guy that comes up with that revolutionary method to attracting women? The point here is never become complacent and happy with what you have. Always strive to become better. Do you think Tom Brady or Michael Jordan sat down one day and said you know what I have been at the top for 10 years I don't think I need to improve. HELL NO!!!! They are out there in the offseason perfecting their craft and becoming the best at what they do. That is why they are where they are now. So don't become complacent.

Life:

You apply for a promotion at work. You feel you and the other candidate are equally qualified. The company chooses the other candidate to fulfill the position. Do you just give up and settle for the position you have for the rest of your life? HELL NO!!! You go to your superiors and you ask what do I need to do to make myself more qualified for this position in the future? Then you take what they tell you and you make sure you become the best motherfucker they have ever seen do that job. Notice how I am becoming more intense with it. Ask any very successful person how they got where they are and they will tell you "I was extremely persistent and I wasn't going to stop until I got here" They had the go getter attitude and they were not going to accept losing. Did they lose from time to time absolutely. But they didnt accept that. They looked back at why they lost and they corrected what they did wrong.

So remember "If you can accept losing, you can't win. "[/b]

That hits the head on the nail why I am fascinated by PU stuff. Although I'm in a LTR, there are so many areas of life where PU logic can be applied.

If you look at the bios of successful people, you will find one factor in most cases: social skills. This is what PU can teach you.

It's an amazing journey. Glad to be here.

Alright fellas. A little bit too drunk tonight to write a quote and post so I will post one tomorrow, along with a field report. A buddy is up from Louisiana so we took him out to show him a good time tonight. I will have all the details in the field report tomorrow which I will link when I post tomorrows quote!

Quote #3

"The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible." - Arthur C. Clarke

PU:

Many guys will see an HB10 and say "she is way out of my league" and never even approach her. They think the chances of picking her up are impossible. As you see here the only way to find out what actually is possible is to do things you think are impossible. You never know, what you thought was impossible may very well be possible. So next time you see an HB10 walk up and introduce yourself and run some game.

Life:

Some people look at bill gates and say it is impossible for me to ever be that rich. Bill Gates did not become the richest man on the planet by saying "I cannot start the biggest computer company in the world" He said "I am going to invent the largest computer company in the world" I am sure many people told him it was impossible and he just ignored them and accomplished what he set out to do. If you have a life goal that you think is impossible set out to and try and accomplish it as soon as possible. From now on see everything as a challenge instead of seeing something as impossible.
