My thoughts are thus: while it is best to never get into the friendzone, the idea that getting out of it is this difficult abyss, seems to me, to be false.
Close female friends with whom I was a "friend" of, but who truly liked me and were attracted to me have, after I have shown attraction, always been very receptive. Even in a LJBF scenario, it seems like you'd still just have to attract the girl and be more confident (and possibly more of a dick)
The problem is that when a person makes an impression of you, it's really difficult to change it. You could spend a lot of time and effort trying, and the results are not guaranteed.
A girl who puts you into the friend zone will have conflicting thoughts if you try to make her see you in a different way.
