Hello again kind people of the PUA community. I bring another two questions that I have been pondering for a while.

The first is what are your thoughts on drinking alcohol while gaming? All of my gaming done to date has been in a club scenario and I can still get easily nervous so i like to knock a few drinks back first. I never get drunk but just a few. Is anyone else in the same boat or do you see drinking while gaming a big no-no?

Second is I currently work for a betting agency taking bets as a part time job. I use this job to build confidence with women who come to put bets on. I think it will help me but i am not quite sure. Again what are your opinions on this? Do you think it is good or do you think that it is some type of false confidence as I am in a work environment?

drunk game is nothing. When you are drunk, you mind isnt working properly so it could be dangerous for the growth of a newbie pua. Use some positive way to get rid of approach anxiety. There are many ways to do that, and one of them is to do 3 warm up approaches (just open, talk a bit and eject) it would get u rolling for the rest of the night. Plus there are many more ways to cure aa.
Now to answer ur 2nd question, game has no boundries, whether be that office, club, part or whatever and women are women be that in a club, office or whatever. If your job is giving u oppertunities to meet women, that's a gud thing

Beer is in general not in favour of your game, of course it all depends on how you control drinks.

1. Many times ordering beer will be used not to approach girls. How many times do you say to yourself 'I open a girl, when I got my first beer. Then, when you have your beer, you say to yourself 'I open a girl, when I finished my beer'.

2. AFC's try to overcome their AA by drinking. Actually they are hiding behind alcohol. If they got rejected, they say it's the beer. If they drink a lot, they think they are cool and funny, but they are not! The only time you can k/f-closed a girl when you are drunk, is when the girl is drank too. Well done then! [sarcasm].

3. Alcohol makes you lose control of the game. You forget the things you should do (kino, neg, disqualify, qualify, etc.), or you go too far with negging. When you think you are kino'ing, you are actually pinching like a moron.

An alternative is to use beer as a reward and approach scheme for beginners:
- You have to approach a girl before you order your first beer;
- before you finish your first beer, you have to approach your second set.
- When you finished your beer, you have to approach a third set, before you can order a new beer

For the advanced guys, you could do 2 in stead of 1 set per time :)

I go to bars and clubs, and when I do, I drink. It is true, guys will use it as a crutch, an excuse not to approach. But honestly you should always know how much is too much, and stop yourself before that. I can go out, grab my gin club, then game. It's fine, you just dont' wanna be sloppy, uncoordinated, etc. That's not just for pickup, that's life.

I have worked in a retail position of some sort since I was in college, so we're talking 4 years now. If your job requires you to talk to people, it can really help deal with social anxiety issues. I avoid actually gaming women while I am on the clock, though, just because in today's society you don't know who's gonna complain about what. I dont wanna lose my job to hit on a cute blonde.

regarding this subject last saturday I've been doing a test. Normally I quit at five beers. To keep my focus. But last saturday I went trough till I was totally pissed. And I have to say it reduces gaming skills, but not by extremes. I kind of totally dissed a girl, then made up with her. She offered to be my wingwoman but I failed scoring this ginger. At first she did not want to give her number so yea I was like then we will never be but it was nice meeting you and she be like omg, and she gave me her number. Texted her that morning but she flaked so yea. Bad gaming.
Yet at the next club I was equally drunk and that girl just texted me today asking me whether I still remember her.

It depends more on the quality of the game you're bringing to the field and less on alcohol. But still I would recommend drinking four or five beers and then start the gaming.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think from now on if I go out to drink I'll drink and if I go out to practice game I will go easy on the drinks.

I like this idea a lot. I will definitely be using this. Once I have had 3 beers I will stop drinking and purely game.
Once again cheers guys.

4 or 5 beers really sounds a bit too much. However, i hardly think you can discount alcohol entirely from gaming. In the nightclub scene it is very hard to find anyone who isn't drinking.
I agree with the approaching sets on your first beer though. The second you start drinking you've got to start gaming if you haven't already that evening.
Definately don't expect any quality game when you can even stand up properly though :P

I do club game, i never drink:

1.- too expensive
2.- clouds your judgement
3.-makes you fat
4.- you waste gaming time ordering and waiting for drinks.
