I'm brand new to this forum, as of today.

I'm 19 years old and I've been researching pick up stuff for a year now. I have all the background knowledge and information.

Now I'm struggling with integrating and bringing it all together. My main issue is that I can be the alpha male (with respect) and lead people but I then people think I'm too serious. Then I can be the funny guy but no one takes me seriously and with the ladies get instantly friend zoned as the funny guy.

So to summarize my issue is I'm struggling to be an alpha male who also makes people laugh, also known as a funny leader.

If you have any advise that can shed some light on this for me that'd be fantastic.

funny leader. lol

leader is someone who steps up when needed. when there is no one else to step up. in the main time he can just chill and let pseudo leaders dominate the scene.

as for becoming a leader, a great way is to join a student organization at your faculty and get involved with serious projects. it's amazing how many things you can learn here.

Funny Leader...I'd love to see where this term comes from.

You may want to read some of David Deangelo's books. You may want to develop a "Cocky-Funny" personality, which integrates having fun, with being a bit more centered and alpha.

Also, experience in the field will help you shape your own type of personality. Just because you read a lot of books, doesn't mean your persona will match them.
