I am very confident in myself and think I am a very attractive guy. The problem is I went to a club/bar yesterday and tried to talk to some girls but totally bombed. I had no gameplan did not do any PUA routines or anything lol. I danced with some chick but thats it. Are PUA routines very effective?

That's a broad question, since there are so many different approaches to the Game. And how effective a specific style is depends on your objective. Quick lay? Marriage? Orgy?

That said, knowing what you're doing is always better than no knowing what you're doing. If you go in cold with no plan, you will fall back on the same routine everyone does (interview questions, failing to escalate) and you will not stand out in any significant way.

Confidence is great. Looks certainly can help (but not essential). But what you sub-communicate is the key to the approach. In what ways was your confidence being communicated? How was your eye contact, body language, etc. How close were you standing. Who was doing all the talking. Were you showing interest or just being entertaining (the dancing monkey). There is a lot to learn, and all of it helps.

Read up and learn, and then apply what you learn. Good luck.

Yea I gotta work on my stuff I mean I was confident I went up to two girls that were in the bar and just started talking to them but I think I came on too strong lol. I gotta touch up on my pua skills I kinda threw everything out ive learned last night and winged it and failed so its time to re-learn. I'm at a stage at my life where getting rejected does not effect me lol

You didn't fail. Staying home and doing nothing is failing. Going out and trying is how we learn and improve.

that is the problem in clubs and bars music is loud, you can not really talk unless patio or the outside, so you have to do club game which is less verbal more dancing and escalating.

sounds like you are used to your looks doing the heavy lifting, being goodlooking and confident is a nice bonus when gaming, but remember it's only a bonus.

PUA rutines can be very useful, it depends very much on your style of game, find a system that either works for you, or that you enjoy using, and practise, soon enough you'll see your game improve
