Need help with a college situation

Ok, first time posting on this site after reading it for quite some time, Basically i've run into a situation were im really unsure of what to do.
Met this girl in class talked to her a few times but i fucked up, i didn't really ask for her name nor did i introduce myself. I'm in this situation now were i know her name but only from hearing it from others and i think she knows mine, but how do i "find out" her name, i don't really feel like just asking her what her name is will run off that well, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
