My first Q is about girls who have had breakups where its said they are still in love with their ex.
I ask because I have a target in mind. I know she is going to be at an event I will be at, and she is hot. Perfect fit for my needs.
But, a friend says "I know you'll be straight onto her but don't bother, she's still in love with her ex. Even if you land her it will be a shitfest"
Wondered what the expert opinion on this was?

However I'd throw in some comment about never dating girls that are still into their ex's. Don't say it in a jealous way though!! Say it in a "life's too short to deal with that crap, you'd rather have a great time with someone thats unattached"
If she says she still has feelings for an ex then cut your losses! Don't be afraid to tell her why your suddenly not interested but again do it in a happy confident way! It will confuse the shit out of her! You will look like the bigger man and not needy! You never know, if she likes you then she may approach you at a later date....someone will make her forget about her ex at some point but again proceed with extreme caution!!
If it was me and she admitted that she still had feeling for an ex then I would cut my losses and be very open! I'd just say that I'm not getting involved in that again! Think about it logically, would you be happy knowing that she would leave you in a heart beat if the ex clicks his fingers?

I guess I just need to judge for myself if the statement about her & her ex is accurate and current.
