Second time at college- need Serous help

hey Guys,
I've had some chitchat with several chicks in college. My problem is that I don't know what I should do when see them for the second time.
It happened a lot that I just see them again but me and the HB both pretend we have not known each other.
The reason I don't go and say hi is that I assume they don't like to talk and I don't want to look creepy and this issue makes me so confused .
Is there any magic or am I missing something?
