Went out for my female cousins 18th birthday party Sat night & met loads of her hot friends. My older (late 20s) cousins were there too & their mates and I've already got a great rapport with them and everyone seems to look up to me, but I'm 30+ and I'm hoping it's respect & not just age!

Anyway, did the cube for several of her friends & everyone loved it. We all got split up though and I got the number of a blonde 19 year old HB8 from my cousin and exchanged some texts:

Me: 02:14 Hey trouble. Where did u bugger off to? I've been left looking after *my drunk 18 yr old cousin & her underage friend*. You owe me a drink!!

HB8: 02:25 LOL is that all you have in response to that essay?!

Me: 02:28 I hate predictive txt, how it could convert a whole conversation into "O" I'm not sure... anyway. That was an essay! I need your email address so I can respond in a respectable & responsive manner. However, this evening *bullshit bullshit*

HB8: 02:26 Xx

*loads more random texts, ended up missing each other & she got into a taxi*

Me: 03:05 *blah blah* anyway hope your enjoyed the night, catch you later gorgeous xhx

HB8: 03:06 Aww you too lovely! Was really nice meeting you xx

My battery ran out at this stage so couldn't reply, sent casual one in morning and later when cousin/friends were tagging photos etc I added her as a friend and tagged her. No emails or text since for 3 days, now thinking of texting...

Yes she's only 19 but seemed like she really had her head screwed on, enjoyed talking to her. I'm just not sure how to proceed now with her being my younger cousins friend... and the age gap...

She still 'owes me a drink' (she'd said it several times before the texting after I'd bought a couple of jugs of cocktails for the birthday girl + friends) so could cheekily remind her of that... was planning a house party but seems the key players can't make it so think I'll cancel - but she doesn't know that yet... so could use it as an excuse to message her...?

Couldn't tell if she was attracted to me or not but the texts certainly indicated some attraction...
