OK, so I went to a club on Monday, and it was student night. Now, I went to this club before, but this time it was so packed. Anyway...last time I opened 3 sets. This time, none. I need to step up my game, I know, but let me tell you something...

I am fucking scared of these chicks for some reason. I had AA all night. There were hundreds 8s, 9s and 10s in the room, basically almost all of them, a dream pretty much. But I didn't want to be there. I felt so uncomfortable. Now, I do have some social anxiety, I find it hard to talk. PU has given me some confidence, especially with the fact that I can pre-plan routines. But still, I didn't open one set. My AA got the better of me. I was just walking around, dancing, walking, dancing. My wingmen opened some sets, one opened around 8 or so, the other maybe 2.

I dunno if this is normal or not. I had openers, i was just scared to use them. I kept thinking of failure. Next time I'm going to fucking push it. Doing the Mystery newbie drill with my wing. If you don't see a field report soon, someone please slap me.

But...is anyone else like this?

Maby it's good for you to give yourself obligations. Say for example to your friend you owe him three beers if you don't start chatting to a random chick within five minutes. It will give you some extra incentive to push it further.

What goes for the AA: some of the funniest memories of picking up are the complete failures. Times when the words simply did not come out. At the spot it's awkward but afterwards you will laugh about it. Thinking how silly you were.

You need to get rid of that internal dialog inside your mind:
- I should approach her now!
- No, she'll reject me! I can't approach!

The thing is the more you think the worse it gets. You should see the girl and immediately approach her. You'll never know what will happen until you approach. Everything you think are just creations of your mind, that outcome is not real.
