What's the better mentality to have:

A) being focused on getting girls and your whole night is revolved around getting girls.

B) being generally sociable and talking to everyone guys and girls with the first priority of having fun and a laugh with people. You get talking to girls incidentally through being generally sociable and you may decide then that you want to pull them. But generally you are not talking to girls with the sole intention of pulling them.

C) A mixture of the two?

I personally often feel like A and I don't get much success because I dont get in state easily, and an more outcome dependant. I have noticed that the nights that I feel like B I get in state much more easily because I'm talking to more people and I'm not as outcome dependant and so I get much more attention and success with girls.

It seems kind of counter intuitive that I have most success when I'm not thinking about pulling the whole night. Its not like I don't think about it at all but its more like my default state is set to 'Have fun and jokes' and I temporarily switch to pua mode when I see a hot girl or happen to talk to one and then switch back again after.

I guess the reason I am often thinking like A is because I think that if I just focus on having a good time then I will forget to pull and not notice the girls as much.

Depends on why Im sarging.

If I wanna try out a new theory or technique I go all in and focus all I have on trying that out.

If Im just sarging I focus on having a good time and stay in the moment. But as soon as Im not in a set anymore I start analyzing what happened and why and what I did right or wrong.

Always have fun but never ever do anything without learning from it.

When you talk to girl, you can't be outcome dependent. But at the same time, you need to have a goal. So if your goal is to pull a girl, your game is gonna take a different route then if your trying to be social. You can combine them, but always make your goal your priority.

For example, if your going out to pull, and through being social, you met a girl you like and get her locked, just start gaming the girl. No need to go out and talk to others and be social. Pulling a girl with very little comfort building is like playing the slot machine. Hit or miss, and chances of it hitting is very little as oppose to missing. So once you have your girl locked and interested, drop the being social and build comfort. Otherwise, your playing the slot machine, or some other guys gonna come and steal her buying temperature that you build and he is gonna have much easier time to hook up with her then you. And yeah, I actually seen this shit happen.

Yeah agree with both of the above. I think as a general rule, it's probably better to go into the night trying to get into just a general social mood. When you've chatted with a few different people and "loosened up" so to speak, then you can switch to your goal of getting laid a lot easier I find. Personally, my biggest problem is that I'm not naturally very social, so I always get into that social state before hand and gaming then comes a lot easier.
