How should one handle a situation if you call or text a girl and she says shes hanging out with some other guy? If its someone who you've never met before should you bad mouth him a bit? Just ignore what she said, (like you don't give a fuck)?

I've had that come up in a convo a couple of times and I was never really sure what to say. I usually go with "you should ditch that kid and come see me instead", but that always felt plain and generic.

Could you give an example? Context matters a lot.

Bad mouthing the other guy will come across as insecure. You need to act like you are not threatened by another guy.

If you say "ditch that kid and come see me instead," then it sounds as if you are threatened by him and want to prevent her from seeing him. Plus, is this other guy a friend or a date? She's not going to like you telling her who she can see, especially if it's one of her friends.

Act like it's no big deal and like this guy is no threat to you and will be just a friend to her or someone who won't interest her. Say something like "Oh that's cool. What are you doing after that?"

Why badmouth him, if she is so stupid that she goes with a guy who isnt you then that is her problem, in the end you are the better choice. (And if you arent, my question is "WHY????" Get out there and become better than him then.)

So she tells you that she hangs with some loser, big deal. Tell her, ah cool, are you planning anything fun? Because you were obviously planning something cool that you make up on the spot and may or may not actually end up doing. And tell her to bring the guy along. That way you can AMOG him in person if need be.

Or, what i do is seriously exaggerate everything, i tell her she broke my heart and that im crying rivers, then tell her i was going to marry her and have 10 kids or some bullshit, usually works.
