Here's the thing - I have a morbidly obese friend (about 350 lbs). This guy has ZERO fear when it comes to talking to women! He is always sending me pictures of naked / topless girls that these girls apparently send to him over their phones. Also, when I'm just hanging out drinking beer with him and some other friends, he will have these girl(s) sitting on his lap and stuff. They are usually his friends' girlfriends, but it doesnt seem to bother his friends because it seems they arent intimidated by a 350 lb+ guy hitting on his girlfriend. I guess they feel that there is no way that their girlfriend would ever actually get intimate with a fat guy like this. My friend says he never has sex with any of these girls because he is paranoid of STDs.

Here's my question: Are these girls just pitying my obese friend? Or are they actually attracted to his boldness? Or both?

Well, he knows how he is and more importantly, accepts that.

When you can accept who you are, and trust that takes a lot of strength, you just don't care what others say about you. 'Cause in your head, you already *know* who and what you really are.

Women are attracted to men who are themselves in all conditions and environments. They can spot when you are faking something, from a mile away.

The thing with your friend is that he's being honest about exactly what he is. Why wouldn't anyone appreciate that?

hahah i have a friend exactly like this, down to every detail. i dont think its really accepting who you are, because i've had real conversations with him about it, but more because he knows how to say it. his body language and tone are spot on and all he does is make everyone laugh all the time, not just guys.

i've asked him why he doesnt try getting with any of these girls and he says "none of them want to hook up with a fat guy like me". sucks that he sees himself like that.
