Hey I'm a college student and tried out a new opener yesterday. I need some work on mid-game sometimes I come off as dull but tell me what you think about this..


Fearless: Hey excuse me, do you know where the college radio station is?

HB: Yeah it's right over there blah blah blah

Fearless: Okay thanks, would you mind walking me there?

girl says yes

This is where I got lame and started asking her questions about what grade are you in, what are you studying, blah blah. She really wasn't asking any questions back either


Now should I even bother saying this next part?

I said, well I know exactly where the radio station is, I used to run it last semester. I just wanted an excuse to talk to you.

She laughed and said oh that's a good one. I asked her out for some lunch and she said she has to work and I said oh everyday? Her response was I have a boyfriend. I joked, oh he can come too and she should laughed and I thanked her. She seemed pleasant


Any tips on working off that opener?
