So sometimes in college when you see a girl you've talked to before she is with friends. Some of them are really gorgeous so you notice them. When this happens I barely make chat with them but I do introduce myself.

The problem is when I see them near me and we are both alone I'm afraid of approaching them, because I CARE. I don't want to seem like a loser and I'm afraid that I will invest myself too much in the conversation and seem like a try hard.

This is something that I want to fix but I'm not sure what I should say in these types of situation or what frame of mine I should put myself in?
