I apologize, bad phrasing. I meant to say it shouldn't take that long(and
that much back-and-forth) to SET-UP a meet.

My two cents:

At this point, given you don't want to call or text her any more, you
should NEXT her and move on. If she does happen to make a move,
then you better do something about it next time or otherwise it is a
vicious circle.

In my first post here, I told you what I think you should do if she texts
again.

Her: What are you up to?
You: My, you're the nosy one aren't you?
Her: I was just curious.
You: So... I suppose you want to get-together...
Her: Sure, we can do something
You: I'm heading to [insert venue] to [insert action]. Tag along if you want.
(your results may vary)

Now, you've called twice, and she's responded with texts twice. You
COULD call again to see if she repeats her actions... or actually
answers this time, but that's SPAM your power and not what
you want to do. But it is an option.

Nice little trick in case you didn't know: If you and a girl are exchanging
texts, then as soon as she texts you, that means she's near her phone
and more likely to answer if you call right then and there.

what if she's not in a position to talk? most people i know txt when ringing someone isn't an option

That may be the case, but you really have no idea what she's doing at
that moment in time... unless she outright tells you or you personally
know her schedule.

eww....so....what, a week or two has gone by? She texts me this morning out of the blue. I bump into her this afternoon for about two minutes (again, had to leave, but i worked that in well -half my attention is all she gets sort of thing).

backstory: me and her had a little bet going the first time we met
current: I finally won the bet

She is supposed to buy me a book if I win. Well, I am not going to make some girl buy me a fucking book; I told her I am going to substitute my earnings for something else.

She texts "well, what are you going to ask for"

reply: "Not sure yet, but you cant pick anything without me"

she texts (about 30 minutes later) "lol k. sigh. I guess youl have to go with me"

I was thinking something like "since your working so hard and often these days, you obviously don't need to be buying me expensive things just yet; a real cup of non-corporate coffee sounds like a plan. "

but that does not fit into "oh "sigh" I guess you'll have to go with me"

so maybe like reply "I am a handful, but the "sighs" should be saved for the boring people :p"

or

"there will be no sighing while you are in my debt "

or

"are you always so reluctant to have a good time? I am always out and about visiting with people. If you are 'oh so busy' I can just stop by and grab what i've earned. "

Alright, so here is what I am doing and the reasons why. I am a nub, just remember.


"There will be no sighing while you are in my debt "

so then she will be like "blah blah blah, I confuse people when i open my mouth"

then I am going to merge a cocky funny line with a "well, I just left one of my meetings; I can swing by and grab what I have earned"

a.) I don't have any meetings....I am a 23 year old and I hate meetings
b.) it makes it sound like I am to busy to deal with her game
c.) one of "my" meetings - I can turn that into a story about my activism blah blah

so however she might reply, it is kind of a trap. She is at work, so there will be no stopping by. Either she is going to say well come by "so and so time" If that is the case, I will walk in, chit chat for a minute, then take her hand and escort her to the car (grabbing what I have earned)

or she can say, no no I will be available "so and so time"
then I will play the "shittttt I had plans with another girl, but I really needed an excuse to get out. She has been getting so clingy lately."

oh, and yea...no other girls =p
