The cell phone block has happenes almost everywhere. I mean I cruise downtown, and I notice a girl walking, coming out a shop/cafe/a corssing street and she's hot. Just one problem I see her talking on her phone...
In daygame it sometimes takes hours to sarge properly, cause you do have to locate girls you want to talk to. It takes a while to find an HB. Unlike nightclubs, hot women aren't clustered all in one area, on the streets, you need to cruise a little to find those girls. For this purpose, I figured out the daytime hours, in which girls tend to go out, This is something that varies in each city.
When I do night game - I approach the entire room adequately for one hour and a half, roughly. That makes somewhere between 25-35 approaches (small talk later followed by a re-approach). While doing daygame, my record so far is 15 approaches for 2 hours. And those 15 approaches are girls I like. But I grew to hate night game and for now I stick with daygame.
One good thing about daygame is that if you fuck up, if the worst happens there are no consequences. In a club, if you are seen being nervous and then blown out by 3-4 sets you value drops a lot and destroys your chances for success. This is called "social suicide" if I'm not mistaken.
I got rejected a few times, all I did was just go to another area, pump my state back up and the game is on once again.
