Well I ve been on about 4 dates since January and I think it's perfectly fine to use that as a source. I heard that out of the 80 million people half use internet dating sites. You might have had bad luck with the cases you had but for the most part I have had success. Ofcourse I am not as successfull as I want to be but its still a good place to meet people.

As far as the coffee date you had with the girl, that could have happened anyways even if you met a girl at a club, the gym or any other place. I asked for a girls phone number at a gym and after she gave me her business card I called and she was busy (this was while in Vegas for a few days) so even if you meet girls face to face you are really never guranteed to have a date or more than one.
