If she contacts you first then its a bonus but if you want to catch up for drinks later today or this week and you havent heard from her then I dont see why you cant give her a call.
It seems as if she's cool with meeting you so there's no harm in you inviting... obviously if she cant make it that day you play it cool and say maybe some other time, dont beg.
Remember, SHE's the one missing out if she cant make it.

hey guys figure i give an update.

texted her today about the new place thats opening up where she used to work.

Me: "What do you know about that place Lava? the one where 344 was?
Her: "Idk...i kinda wanna work there...do you know anything?"
Me: "I hear is bar/rest. what are you doing now?"
Her: "I'm home, gotta read 2 chapters, then have work at 5."

This is where i called her.

Me: heyy, i tell her my dad told me about the place, not sure who he heard it. blah blah blah
Her: tells me a she saw them rip out the bar and doing construction on the inside.

blah blah more yaking about the resturant.

Me: I'm coming back from school and was going to run to get coffee. come with.
Her: i can't i have to read these two chapters and then i wanted to work out before work blah blah blah.
Me: well i have things to do too, but it wont be long.
Her: I would be but i have to read these two chapters before work.

then i bring up that i have to read malcolm x's autobiography for a class and we yak about that for a little bit.

Me: what are your plans for friday?
Her: "friday? hmm nothing really during the day"
Me: "me and few friends were going to go to camelback to go snowboading on friday. since all ur stuff is at ur house up there i thought to ask you. wanna go?"
Her: oh, well i have class at 2 but thats it. and i can't miss class..but i'm free tommorow, no cheerleading nothin."
Me: oh really? i thought you were a badass?"
Her: "I amm! i just can't miss class"
Me: "just curious, does your brother go to school around here?"
Her: "ya hes goes to the community...blah blah blah"
Me: "you think he'd wanna go?"
Her: "umm idk i could ask him..."
Me: "alright sounds good. listen i have to go i think there's a cop following me while im on the phone, do something tommorow then?"
Her: "depends on what what time, but sounds good"
me: "well ill text you when i can and well see whats going on. later" click

then like 10 mins later i texted her

Me "lame that cop jsut pulled me over for being on the phone wit you."
Her: "oooooo mann that sucks. get a ticket? my brother said he goin up sunday....blah blah blah"
Me: "nah i smooth talked myself out of it lol. alright ill talk to my friends and see what their deal is"

howd did you guys think that went? i was being up beat and fun on the phone. it just felt like when i hung up she was like "...oh ok bye.." like she was expecting the conversation to go on longer or somethin. idk. should i contact her tommorow or no? after flaking on two invites already?
