Throw in some NLP technigues, but don't over do it, just enough to turn the tide. If she squeezes in a jab about another guy either side step it like a pro boxer or throw in some negging. For example, HB "OMG, I met this totally cute guy the other day. We talked for 2 hours on the phone. I think we're going out this weekend."
