What's there to elaborate on?

Pickup basically teaches you to be more attractive to women. Whether that makes you fearful and insecure is up to you, but personally an attractive person would be the exact OPPOSITE - they're not afraid or insecure because they are confident in their ability to attract women.
Most pickup methods and routines, and the paradigms themselves promote patriarchal norms. Whenever somebody challenges this, they are often judged as having an effeminate persona. PUA, for the most part, puts forth this idea that 'hot' women should be made to feel lesser (e.g., negging, put-downs, withdrawal of attention, etc) which serve only to exploit a person's vulnerability and existential fears of isolation.
