Pretty much what i mean is, if you keep doing the same approach with a terrible line and it doesn't work, doing it 100 more times isn't going to necessarily make the approach any better because it's still a terrible line.

Surely you're not using the exact lines though? Text game is the same as an organic conversation, you can have an opener and a few lines that are good but there is always going to be a point where you just need to text like an ormal person and respond off some thread to whatever the person is giving you

Practising text game over and over is good

Using the same line that doesn't work over and over is bad (so i agree)

Just thought you were saying a bold statement: practise doesn't make perfect

for me the whole point of texting game is to build a small thought of me while the im not meeting with the girl, thus should be light and fun, cause if shes beauty ill assume that im not the only one who text her, so at the very least should be fun, and i wouldnt recommend interrogating questions such as "what r u doin?" "where do u live?" or "what do you do?" rephrase it . the best way to text is 1 hours after you went somewhere out with the girl, tell her you had a good time n stuff n you would love to meet her again on certain schedule.
But to answer your topic, i'd say trials, errors or girl friends (older than your target).

I agree that practicing a lot would help, i just wish i kind of had a basis for my texting. For instance, like 1-3 times a week, an hour ish each time. That kind of thing.

I guess to keep me in their heads without being needy with too much texting.

I'll do all my catching up in person. I'll let her head work on me in the meantime rather than being too available over text or phone or what not.
