I would be more forgiving if there was bad PUA advice out there which said negging a girl for being overweight was ok, but it doesn't say it... Anywhere!

To the OP, to get even close to feeling the amount of humiliation you put this girl through, imagine if your ex girlfriend showed up at the same bar while you were chatting up a group of girls with your buddies and announced that you have the smallest penis she has ever seen.

Some things are just forbidden, especially when youve only just met someone. A girl's weight is one of them.

@Chief, I agree, so to the OP just stop negging all together until you understand the purpose of it.

Other forbidden "negs" FYI:
1) Never mention small tits if the girl has small tits
2) Never mention a big ass if she has a nicky minaj
3) Never mention unusual facial features (eg. Big moles, big ears, big nose, acne covered by makeup etc.)
4) Never mention any deformity or disability, such as a limp, prosthetic limb or braces.

Basically anything physical she can't help, or was born with, is a no-go area for negging.

Ok topics: Normal teasing/banter, her attitude towards things, her opinions, her choice of handbag. Any comments on her clothes should be worded as backhanded compliments.

She's definitely never wearing that dress again..

This is why I hate the "neg" thing because guys will get into this and not understand there is a very fine line between teasing and just being a downright asshole.

And as FlexBrah said, you probably didn't say it the right way... you probably just came off as some asshole instead of just being playful.
