I hear your point about sexual confidence etc and I do agree with it to an extent but for the following reason: I think why men lack confidence is more because they THINK that if they don't deliver in bed they will lose out on the girl forever which makes them lack confidence and not go for it etc. And that is simply UNTRUE.
Truth in this case is a matter of degree. It could be 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and so on. Generally speaking (not the absolute truth nor UNTRUTH), married relationships though last longer and married couples are happier with good sex.
Here's a study mainly made by US state employees and originally published by the American Psychological Association. Technically, it's a public domain work but the American Psychological Association charges $12 for it. I'm giving the link from the servers of Iowa State University which is a government funded university.
This is NOT an anecdotal experience that I pulled from my ass and claim that this is better than a study made by master's degree and/or phd guys/gals which has been peer reviewed by other people trained well on how to analyze statistics (numbers and graphs) and well cited by at least 78 other researchers in the field of science.
Take your pick: a supporting argument based on flatulence or a supporting argument based on empirical evidence. Here's the link:

All the other guys in this thread who are actually getting laid attest to this for one good reason: infield, it's true MOST of the time. You'll get laid a lot more when other girls hear you're great in bed. Women are the biggest kiss-and-tell creatures around (based on field experiences).
