If the bad boy image can work well is because there are many men that go to the opposite side. The ones that act soft and nervous towards a girl, that's not masculine at all, and women dislike that, so they go for the other extreme. Problem is, neither relying on this stereotype, and going a lot after these type of women, is a good thing in the long run. You should build yourself an image that is true to yourself, more than being a bad boy, you should try to be a relaxed individual. Somebody that acts cool, calm and collected in any social situation.
