If you're in a vulnerable place right now I'd simply inform her that you'll be busy over the next bit, but that you'll contact her at some point in the future. Don't tell her why as this would simply affirm to her the hold she has over you and also add a little bit of intrigue particularly if being unavailable to her is uncharacteristic of you. Moreover, it gives you some power back; it almost goes without saying that you've already given her too much of it.
She wasn't a one-night-stand. Most guys on this forum have no context for understanding relationships, they only think "I've gotta game, I've gotta be that PUA!". You have a history with her, she knows you, you know her. The situation I am assuming is still quite fresh making it virtually impossible to switch to 'game mode' on her, particularly because she knows your habits and flipping the script on her would seem incongruent and inauthentic (annoys the shit out of girls).
