The idea of PU, in it's core, is very simple: you have to be a very social individual, one that has magnetism over people, that can carry any type of conversation, jump from one topic to another, somebody that stands out from the crowd, someone fun and positive. Think about it for a moment, do women want to date guys who are depressed, desperate or who are just not fun at all? It's not about changing who you are (unless you are a really negative person, which in that case you are screwing yourself, badly) but it's more about taking every single good thing about you and tuning up that to the max. You want to become a man that a woman wants to have by her side, plain and simple.

First of all, PUA techniques aren't just about picking up dumb slutty girls for one night stands. It is about understanding how the female mind works and beating them at their own games. It's about consciously recognizing that picking up girls is a skill that can be mastered like anything else. What you do with those skills is your choice.

I have not had the chance or time to read all the responses. But in order to get a gf one must first date. In order to date on must first meet a ton of girls. I liken it to this when you go trick or treating you get lots of candy . when you get home you dump out the huge bag of candy to pick out the best stuff. This is no different the more choices you are presented with the more likely you are to find someone who is more compatible to who you are.

you are the man. you clarified everything for me. I have a personal and ethical code that I follow. The same reason I don't hire prostitutes to satisfy my carnal desires, is similar to why I don't want to pick up drunk women or just any women just to have sex. I am not saying its dirty, may be I will try it once or twice to see how it feels like. But I would go for a relationship with a girl. At the end of the day, picking up girls for relationship makes me respect myself, and for me my self-respect is very important.
