Jurupa: you have a point. The new base 328i with the 40mpg or whatever may hold a lot of value...still it's a small sedan. I would like to see the coupe...it's prob going to be insane
The base coupe is roughly $39k, so you could walk away with say a 35k maybe 34k price? Tho I would imagine the mpg would be for the most part the same.

The Prius is a great choice but I hate them
That is just an ugly car.

I have a 2009 911 C4S Targa that's Guards Red with black and chrome rims! The black rims really sets off the black targa top on the red bodywork! Girls like it but some think that 911s are a bit too "look at me". Thats not why I bought mine...I just love sports cars!
Unless you get one of the higher end Porsche's or special editions it is pretty much look at me car.

Dont go for the M3 if you have been used to the M6! You will never be happy with it as it's not as fast in gear plus the suspension is quite soft for a sports saloon/coupe!
The thing is there is no sports car that really gets over 20mpg. And Wulver seems to be more interested in mpg than anything else. Also the 3 series isn't exactly a sports car or saloon for that matter at least stock wise. Tho if you mod it it can be a decent sports saloon, it own't match the likes of a M5, but it still can be fun to drive tho.

You know for my next purchase I'm tempted by a really economical daily car (Prius) but then buy a desirable classic car from the 1960s for special occasions and nice dinners! Possibly a 1969 Iso Grifo! American power under Italian coachwork! Best of both worlds! Also the De Tomaso Pantera is an option with the same Italian American recipe
Rather go with an old El Dorado pimped out or an old muscle car, but that is just me.
