So, I love cougars. But lately, I'm having tons of problems with my younger age. They keep disqualifying me ("your too young", which I KNOW is actually an IOI). Tonight this HB9 walked by me and I opened flawlessly. She walked in to the diner and looked at me, keeping eye contact. I opened verbally, and before I even finished she invited me to sit with her and her girlfriend at their table. We talked for a good ten minutes, I DHVed. then she said I was "way to young". And I said "Poor you" and she seemed interested, but kept using the same excuse, until the interaction went downhill.

Something similar happened about a month earlier.

I refuse to lie about my age. I know I can do this, so any advice?

99% of the this kind of quasi-resistance can be avoided if one simply ignores it, which sounds ridiculous on paper but is surprisingly effective in practice.

Instead of letting the conversation die, simply insinuate what you already know (that she is attracted to you despite your age) - "If by 'too young,' you mean too virile and sensitive to a woman's needs, then I agree." - and then continue as if nothing was said at all.

Alternatively, you could always quote the old techno song, "Age ain't nothin' but a numba," but then, you might be too young to remember that
