This is been a sticking point for quite a while. I was recently at a restaurant with the family, and my uncle decides to wave over the waitress and introduces us, something he does quite frequently (which is why I would like to get this handled for the next time, he's a total natural, and he's quite an asset on his own).

I was using some good C and F, then she playfully hits me, I look at her and then like a punch in the back of the head, I'm reminded my whole family is right behind me, and it freaked me right the hell out. Kind of the same feeling I would get when I used to be really shy, and before I read up on any PUA. I tried to shake it off, but it really ruined everything, and I end up just saying bye and walking away. I don't get this at ALL when by myself, but it seems there's still some internal factors I need to work out.

I briefly thought of incorporating my family somehow, like grabbing my non English speaking grandmother to ask her if she "approves" of her or something, no idea if it would work, but like I said, I pretty much froze well before that opportunity was still a possibility.
