I will keep it short in the beginning, because it is verz late here and i have classes tomorrow.
short introduction of myself: I am a german law student who recently attended to ewha womans university in seoul as an exchange student. Ewha is the biggest womans university in the world.
Short description of my problem: I have a female buddy who is assigned to help me here in korea. We had two nice days with each other. Although she takes this as a duty, I have mentioned her touching her hair and loooking at me quite often when we were out with some other girls the second day.
Already on the first day, she touched her hair for about ten minutes, after I started a conservation and tried some negging and the question: "do zou believe in metaphysical powers" with the pursuant game of asking her to think of a number and me saying it would be 3 respectively 7. ALthough it only worked 1 time, she even asked to play the game again.
When the second date ended I took my courage in both hands and asked her for a real date. First she complained about the nature of the date, later she stated in an e-mail, I would not understand korean culture and she would be a conservative girl here.
I think I screwed this one, but I wanted to ask you guys if anybody has a feeling for the problem I have faced here. Is the problem that there is not enough rapport or is there not enough attraction at all.
I dont want to do the same mistake again.

in your mail, you mentioned "go out with" huh? you know that means "a date"? to make sure, you should say "hang out with" instead. got my point? hahah that kind of words can make a weird situation, i think.
hugging or holding hands arent usual occasion too.
well, i think we can be good friends if you understand korean cultures more.
and the facebook, hmm. i felt not good because i thought your friend in germany was way too much. well, since you say he's just joking around, i wont mention it more.
