So I've just come back from a bar where I was watching football, after the game ends one of my friends leaves and there are just 2 of us.

There are 2 girls on the table next to me, 1 I saw at the bar who is a 9/10, really quite stunning, so I know she's not getting away without me getting her number, the other is like a HB5...my wing man knows this is his bullet to take.

I tell my friend to open (he has a better position), he initiates with my masterpiece of an opener "Can you guys just settle this argument and tell my friend I don't look like I'm from One Direction" (He really does), get's them laughing straight away and leads on to a fun conversation.

After chatting to the girls for a few minutes they tell us what their plans are and where they are going, they ask us to come along to the same club, however I have work to do so I'm not going out, (I don't let them know this as I'm planning to get their number under the assumption we'll meet up at the club later).

So as I'm about to number close she drops in that shes only 18, and that she's still at College (High School for you Americans...)*Deal Breaker* I think I've hit my lower age limit (I'm about to turn 24 although still at Uni), she lives with her parents obviously and I'd just feel strange taking her out.

I'm just a bit confused why I acted like that, since she's genuinely one of the hottest girls I've seen in this city but felt like it would be just too easy, like fishing with dynamite or something.

What are your guys views on age ranges, particularly guys the same age as me around 23/24?

(Note: I dated an 18 University student a few months ago and after 2-3 months I the age gap just seemed too great, although I'm not really looking for a relationship at this moment in time)

I am 24 and i've dated plenty of 18 year olds while being 23 / 24. I generally cut the line at high school but 18 year olds always seemed interested in everything older guys say so i would play that card my brother. Age doesn't' matter, only maturity.
