Try to refrain from actually opening with magic. Remember that a first impression lasts a lifetime. If you open directly with magic, you're remembered as so-and-so the magician instead of "this awesome guy I met." Open as if you didn't know any magic and then bust it out when the time is right.

How do I transition into magic? I just wait for a dull moment in conversation and then say, "hey, do you guys want to see something awesome?" It's that simple. If I'm gaming a girl whom I feel really believes in horoscopes and whatnot, I'll use mentalism effects instead of magic. It just hits harder.

Her: "blah blah blah"
PUA: "whatever, I can tell you more about yourself in ten minutes than your closest friends can"

Then I use some mentalism effects "to calibrate our nonverbal communication" and then launch into cold reading via The Cube routine. Too Easy.


If you're doing it correctly, somebody will inevitably ask you...
"How did you do that?"
"How did you learn this stuff?"
"Why do you know how to do this [magic]?"

Have a game-friendly response prepared for each.

"How did you do that?"
-Very well, thanks for asking.


"How did you learn this stuff?"
-I learned this in prison.

Hey man, how do you make that work in a high noise environment? I sarge mostly in nightclubs and it's kinda hard to catch their attention with magic... I use some magic during day 2s for attraction spikes during comfort or if I am in a low noise environment... What do you recommend? Thanks!
