Something I consider a sticking point is not knowing when to use fluff and when to use patterns, lines, routines. What is everyones fluff to tech ratio??

Honestly, patterns lines and routines are good to have in the back of your mind, but you really want to know the reason why they work. I won't lie, I have about 3 or 4 canned openers and routines that I use on occasion. However if you want conversation to come naturally you need to understand the psychological reasons why these routines work, and then no matter what comes up in the conversation you can have a response that will work wonders.
