on MANY occasions ive been talking to a girl and throw a neg at her, but then she would take it wrong and then insult me. In these situations i have no clue how to respond, say goodbye and then I eject.
It really bugs me because thing are usually going well beforehand.
Any suggestions?

Location: Ontario, Canada | | This is a good point. If you are looking for suggestions I can offer you one. Personally if I am in this situation, I have set a neg, and she took it the wrong way I would be wary of a few things. First off make sure when you are giving her a neg you do it while maintaining eye contact as well as smile after saying it. This should help with her taking it the wrong way. IF she still does take it the wrong way I would have to think fast, probably comment on how quick witted she is.
If your first neg is taken the wrong way and she insults you I would say something along the lines of "Are you going to make me be the mature one?" but make sure you are smiling and maintaining eye contant....its key to pulling off an effective neg

Location: United Kingdom | | If she's resorting to insulting you after a neg, make sure you're actually neggin her and not straight up insulting her. If that's not your problem and you are neggin properly, just laugh off her insults. Making yourself the butt of the joke is a great way to give off a playful attitude and show you don't take yourself to seriously.

Posts: 236 | | i actually made fun of myself once or twice while talking in a two set today. I was able to make tease and neg sooo much more easier and got a good amount of IOIs and a lot of laughter. It was a lot of fun. Thanks guys
