I have two sticking points I would like help with. First one is after opening I seem to have problems getting the IOIs. I don't really know what to say or how to guide the conversation that gets me the three IOIs. A little background information is that I'm a student and most of the girls I meet are classmates.

Number two: After getting the girl's numbers from some of my classmates for studying I've been texting them every so often. Eventually I ask them what they are doing this weekend and ask if they want to get coffee? Earlier today I went and got coffee with this brunette and it did not go well at all. My problem is conversation material. I'm not really sure what to say or how to guide the conversation in such a way that gets her to want me.

Can anyone help me? Or give me links where I can find out? I have two possible other dates and I don't want them to go as poorly. I want to be able to improve.
